Pre-Sales Questions
Styleberry Gel Polish and all other products are FREE of: Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Parabens, Sulfates, Camphor, Triphenyl Phosphate, Xylene and Ethyl Tosylamide.
We are proud to be 9 toxin FREE gel that provides great pigment, coverage, and long-lasting gel for our customers! Our formula comes from well-known sources around the world along with numerous product testing trials of what ingredients are of the best quality as well as healthiest for our customers to use! Our certifications include: Produced by GMP factory (Good Manufacturing Practice). Passed SGS test of Heavy metal and Toxicological risk assessment. We believe that not only the quality of the gel is important, but also the ingredients that are being used are safe for our customers to use without being exposed to any toxic materials!
Order confirmations can sometimes take up to 24 hours to receive due to high demand. If you have not received your order confirmation E-mail after 24 hours, please contact us at admin@styleberry.co.za. with your inquiry.
We currently don't provide support during weekend or public holidays.
We aim to respond to all e-mails within 1 business day.
All deliveries are done using trusted door-to-door couriers and your order is fully insured from the moment it leaves us, right up until it’s in your hands!
You will receive an email with a tracking number and link as soon as your goods have left our warehouse in Cape Town.
All orders placed online can only be delivered within the borders of South Africa.
All orders received by 11 am will be processed the same day and dispatched the following working day on condition that payment reflects in the bank account of Styleberry and assuming no stock availability issues. Orders placed on weekends will be processed on the following Monday.
Main centres: 3 – 4 working days,

We offer FREE Priority Shipping for orders above R999.
For orders below R999 we charge a standard delivery fee of R79 per order anywhere in South Africa. We also offer a priority shipping option for R99 per order.

We use Payfast as our secure and trusted payment gateway.
We accept secure payments for local customers via Credit Card, EFT, Zapper and Mobicred.
Unfortunately not, we only sell our products online and accept payments via card, Zapper, Mobicred and EFT.
Your 100% satisfaction is important for us. We offer a 30-days Return & Exchange Policy:
If a product gets damaged or was faulty upon a delivery - we offer 100% refund.
Timing: we have a 30-days Return & Exchange Policy, since the day item was received.
To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged and accompanied by proof of purchase.
For returns, please email admin@styleberry.co.za with the subject 'Returns' and include your order number, name and the reason for the return.
Seller will provide the customer with instructions where to send returned goods. Customers are strongly recommended to get proof of postage when returning goods to avoid "lost packages" situations.
When returned item is received and inspected, customer receives a confirmation email, notifying about the status of the refund.
If the refund is approved, then it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to customer's credit card or original payment method shortly after.
Defective goods:
If your product is giving you any problems we offer a standard 6 month defective product warranty on all goods purchased through Styleberry
Goods will be collected and assessed before any refunds are made.
Product Questions
It is normal for gel polish to be slightly thick when exposed to low temperatures. If you think the gel is too thick, we recommend placing the entire bottle of gel polish (tightly sealed) into a cup of warm water for about a minute. The gel will become thinner due to the heat!
Our sets are labeled by set names, so if you think you have received the wrong set you ordered, please contact us immediately! If it is the correct set but you are unsatisfied with the color match, we work very hard to closely match each color to a digital replication for our image. It is impossible to match an exact color with any digital representation of a physical product; however, we have worked closely on each set making sure that each color is as close as it can be to the color in the bottle. If you are still unsatisfied, please contact us. We are here to help and make it right in any way!
Nail prep is essential before applying gel.
Make sure your nails are free of any oils and are dry. Gently buff the surface of the nails with a nail buffer, this will help the gel adhere to the nail correctly. Another important step is to seal the edges of your nails with the color and top coat by swiping brush horizontally onto the edge of nails. This will help prevent chipping which could lead to peeling.
Tips to avoid chipping:
Before applying, ensure your nails are completely dry, clean and oil-free.
Don't apply gel on the skin or cuticle.
Applying thin coats are key!
Cap the edge of each nail with top coat to seal the gel well by swiping horizontally with the brush, back and forth.
Note: Gel polish can chip easier than others based on their lifestyle and hinder a gel manicure's longevity. Every individual is different! Some people have oilier skin than others, which require more prep of cleansing the nail and adding a bonder before color. Personally, we have had greater success with gel manicure's by adding a gel builder underneath the nail (such as our polygel or a clear gel builder of any sort) it helps the gel adhere to the nail better and reduce the risk of chipping or peeling!

Bubbles can form during the curing process when air gets trapped underneath the layer of gel. You can avoid this by applying thin coats of gel and to also swipe your brush on the edge of the bottle before you apply so you have a smooth surface.
If the gel starts to wrinkle, this could be to improper curing for the layer underneath. This is similar to bubbling. We recommend thin coats, and to fully cure the gel under the lamp based on the wattage and strength of the bulbs. Every lamp is different but we recommend to cure the LED minimum of 60 seconds UV 2 minutes.
Our gel is formulated to cure under a UV/LED lamp. There are many nail lamps out there and each lamp has a different wattage, make, etc. We cannot promise how long it will take the lamp being used will cure the gel, however, we recommend a minimum of 60 seconds with a LED light and 2 minutes with a UV lamp. If you are looking for a new lamp, we suggest our starter kit with our Styleberry 168-WATT lamp! It is of great value and we are confident it will cure your beetles gel polish!
Since the metal plate of the lamp is not a necessary part, we removed it. Not using the metal plate will not affect the use of the lamp at all. If you are still accustomed to having a bottom protector for your working surface, it is recommended to place a paper towel commonly used at home on the bottom of the lamp for easy cleaning and packing.
